Calibrating your air tool

You need to calibrate your air tool regularly because mechanical parts wear out, contamination, lubrication runs out and general abuse. Most manufacturers have strict procedures requiring the periodic calibration of air tools. Normally calibration is required at least once a year. Ingersoll-Rand recommends every 6 months or 100,000 cycles.
